    Family picked it out for a reception/reunion. Atmosphere of the power floor was definitely not conducive. Granted, we could have gone upstairs, but then you lose access to the full menu, which was touted to be "excellent". I'd definitely not go that far in my assessment. The "Antipasto for 2 was some olives, mozzarella wheels, deli ham and pepperchini. The bread showed up a few minutes later. And 15 seconds before the main course. Jumbo prawns. Or I guess large shrimp is what the menu should have mentioned. I won't be back, nor would I recommend it to any friends or family. Maybe it was an off day, but I'll never know.

    Excellent old-school Italian food and atmosphere. The Alfredo is some of the best out there. Fresh hot bread not once, but twice during the meal. Outstanding, friendly service.

    Very good pizza. Their onion/green pepper rings were also tasty. Family member got the Seafood platter- it looked like your normal run of the mill fried seafood offering, but he said it was good. Nice location, friendly staff, seemed like a decent price for what you get.

    Our waiterss was new, so it wasn't the best experience. She was sweet and did her best, but should have had help on such a busy night. Overall the food was good.

    Have eaten there over 1000 times. SUPERB pizza. Everything else is equally great. It's one of the most iconic food destinations in Des Moines. Don't pass it up!
